Warm, sunny, dry conditions drew fourteen ladies did this last WTT event before next week's Invitational. The wind was troublesome in the open section before the Queensway overpass and in the finishing stretch, but that didn't stop 5 women from improving upon their 2013 WTT previous best and 2 people from improving upon their database-best 15km. Cadet rider Catherine Belzile (24:28, 36.785 km/h) was the most improved in both of these regards with a 10.35% improvement in her cube-speed. We'll look forward to many more improvements from her in coming years. The other person with a new database PB was Janine Gorman (25:03, 35.928 km/h) with aero bars and a 4 second improvement. Note that next Tuesday is the WTT Invitational where men can participate if they have OCA insurance and ride on a team with an insured woman. Teams often make up funny names, and you can see some of the names which have been used thus far by looking at the earlier WTT Invitational Results.
